Department of Education DepEd ask Parents not to buy gadgets just yet, because the specs list for the gadgets is to be released next week, stay tuned to our facebook post to see the list.
Parents that are looking for devices which will be used by their children in schooling should not buy at once, as Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Briones instruct on Wednesday, June 10.
“Delay sana yung parents” Briones said.
Because she tells that the DepEd is preparing the “exact specifications of the gadgets” that parents should look for when buying the gadget.
“Ang DepEd magpalabas ng standards within this week,” she said.
“But we don’t want na they would get the cheapest or whatever,” the education chief pointed out.
“Gusto natin yung nagko-comply sa standards ng DepEd at yung capacity makaka-absorb, makaka-record, kung ano-ano mga functions na naiha-handle,” she clarify.
“We will endeavor na ma-provide yung teachers also with the appropriate gadgets,” she added.
Secretary Briones added that the gadgets will be colored and installed with security features so that these can’t be used by others and prevented from being stolen or sold.
